You may be able to troubleshoot your problem before calling for help
1. Check your breakers to make sure your Home Comfort System has power
2. Make sure your thermostat is set for cooling/heating and turned on
3. Check your air filters and make sure they are clean. Your filters may appear to be clean, but if you have a tabletop humidifier, the minerals from the water inside the humidifier have been known to plug up the filters in as little as one week. And if your filters are white, these minerals are visually undetectable.
IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL OF THE STEPS ABOVE AND YOUR SYSTEM IS STILL NOT COOLING OR HEATING YOUR HOME, PLEASE CALL US AND WE'LL BE HAPPY TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT..
Air balancing is part of homeowner maintenance and should be performed at the beginning of each season. If you feel like your Home Comfort System is not keeping you comfortable or notice an increase to your utility bill, then air balancing your home may be a solution.
Test your temperatures at the same time each day and wait 24 hours after making adjustments to allow your system time to redistribute the air throughout your home.
We take your comfort seriously. If you run into air balancing issues that you cannot address using the tips we have provided, please feel free to call us for assistance. We would be happy to come out and assist you with air balancing your home. Please note that there may be a fee for help with air balancing and/or vent flowing.
